InI MLD & Allstars @ Casa del Sol in August

Lets bring yall up to date InI and the Allstars passed thru one of our favorite spots, Casa Del Sol in Nyack this month where we set it on fire. It was a hot night and the temp was definitely higher inside casa on Saturday. The crowd was great as usual and they packed casa and spilled outside to the front . Jolomite and Negus worked that stage till they were soaked. with Eric killing the guitar on his knees at some points. Gregg got the spot jumping on the drums and the coolest man I know Drew the monsta on bass kept us all in pocket. It was a great night and we'll be back pray fully in October. So keep up with the crew and try to catch a live show of the allstars and see the hottest show you never saw before!!! Next show Friday Aug 27th @ Cafe Barcel 162 main street Nyack NY the stripped down acoustic set yeah that's right acoustic and the allstars still mash it out come see in the flesh see you there.

InI love at Black August @ the Highline

Sorry its been a while but we have truly been busy making some great new music in the gates and I'm new to this blogging thing still. You can follow us also on facebook just look up InI Mighty Lockdown. I recently went to the Black August celebration in NY with my man Jolomite, Edwin and DJ Metaphysic and it was a great night of great music with a great crowd. The line up was crazy from La Bruha and Akir who killed it to Kale all day and her band who was fire. The band ADM ripped it and I haven't seen them in years their sound was on point as expected. Sierra Leone rapper BaJah and the Dry Eye Crew featuring Jah Dan gave the crowd a taste of the African Hip Hop sound their energy was captivating on stage you were pulled into their vibe instantly. The amazing Cody Chestnut took the stage with his band looking like true musical royalty and blessed the Black August crowd with an uplifting performance that had the crowd wide open. At this point  the show was already a night to remember then Hip Hop great Pharoahe Monch took the stage.Pharoahe Monch was amazing haven't seen him rock in a min and he did not disappoint, complete with back up singers and DJ he ran through his extensive archive of hit songs and set the place in a frenzy for dead prez who rocked next. They had the crowd going crazy banging out new joints off the Revolutionary but gangsta grillz mix-tape with DJ Drama. When they dropped the Malcolm Garvey Huey joint it was a wrap. They also did favorites off the classic Lets get Free album and as the energy level was at the highest point the ended with the anthem Its bigger than hip hop. Other Artists like Hakim Green and Hassan Salaam and my man Sadat X killed the stage also on Friday night. It was a night filled with great Hip Hop not the BS force fed off the radio. Man I had a blast with Edwin from Spectrumatic we hung till the early morn ( got outta there @4:30am) and to top it all off we got the beginning stage video footage of Ghetto Livin feat. M1. Conscious Hip Hop is alive and well with a new class of emcees coming into the school keep you eyes and ears open. Big ups to my brethren LuquantumLeap man it was so good to see you can't wait to link up.
