Yes my people welcome to the new year 2012 and the InI MLD Allstars have stared it off with a busy month. Big ups to the Shrine NYC in Harlem for giving us the chance to rock "First Fridays"on the 6th of Jan. It was a great night, got to see old peeps and met some new ones. Big up to Pidgin droppings Juggla and Israyl dope set, The Shrine is a new favorite great sound lighting and vibe I could feel Fela in the house and we will definitely be back We rocked with Loud Apartment that night ( big up Nevaris for booking us) and then again on January 12th at Drom in NYC (
Drom Uncomun show) for Uncomun a love Haiti tribute show with Maya Azucena . It was an amazing show Loud Apartment rocked it And Maya Azucena blew my mind she is f@#%* amazing and InI MLD Allstars ripped up the stage and had the crowd in a frenzy after Soul is Priceless. It was a great night with a spliff and felafel to top it off. We also celebrated the three year anniversary of Jolo's Kitchen vegan restaurant in New Rochelle. It turned into a dope intimate show at Alvin and Friends in New Ro with our last drummer Gregg Jarvis we had a blast and celebrated Jolo's earthday and Melkam Gehenna ( Ethiopian Christmas ). We head back to Casa Del Sol in Nyack on the 21st of January so all our Westchester and Rockland people come pack the spot and lets keep this energy going.......
